About us

The Canterbury Shooting Club was setup to encourage like minded people in the safe and proper use of all types of recreational firearms. These include rifles, shotguns and pistols.

The main focus of the Canterbury Shooting Club is to give tuition on the safe and proper use of these firearms to anyone who wishes to pursue the sport of shooting safely. The club holds regular match and training shoots on designated ranges. The main range is over 300 meters long and caters for 3 gun and ISPC type shooting.

What I like about how they conduct this part is that after every step they explain they ask if you have any questions. Even if you're unsure to ask, the guys explaining will just ask you anyway and really help you get comfortable. My Best Friend was really apprehensive and had a ton of questions and the guys at the club made her feel just as comfortable as they made me. I have now been a member for four years.
